時を超え、蘇る名機の調べ：幻の「コンサトーン HP」フルレストア品

これは単なるレプリカではありません（ただし裏蓋を除く）。

大正時代、大阪で産声を上げた菱美電機商会が戦前の1930年頃に発表した真空管4球再生式ラジオを、3ヶ月もの時間をかけ、丁寧にフルレストアしました。まさに正真正銘のオリジナルです。

菱美電機商会は、当時三菱電機の販売会社であり、その象徴的なブランド「コンサトーン」は、会社の変遷とともにタイガー電機、戸根無線へと受け継がれました。惜しまれつつも1950年にその歴史に幕を下ろしましたが、その唯一無二のサウンドと魂は、現在の三菱電機「DIATONE（ダイヤトーン）」へと脈々と受け継がれていると言われています。

ご紹介する「HP」モデルは、性能とデザインにおいて菱美電機のヒット作として知られ、その美しい姿は「FM」モデルにも引き継がれています。これまで数々のラジオをレストアしてきましたが、その中でも特に美術的価値が高い、最も美しい筐体を持つ一台です。手放すのは大変心苦しいのですが、限られたスペースのため、この度出品を決意いたしました。

奇跡の保存状態と、蘇った音色

製造から95年という歳月が流れているにもかかわらず、ハウジングは奇跡的に無傷という素晴らしい保存状態でした。しかしながら、内部の電気回路はやはり補修が必要でした。錆だらけのシャーシ、コンデンサの液漏れによる激しい腐食、一本の不良真空管、そしてスピーカーのフィールドコイルおよびオーディオトランスの断線…。一時は再生を諦めかけたほどです。

しかし、幸運にも当時の回路図が残されていたため、「当時の音色を再び聴きたい」という熱い想いのもと、困難を乗り越えて再生に尽力しました。コイル、バリコン、トランス以外の電子部品や配線はほぼ全て新品に交換し、さらにキャビネットの再塗装やスピーカーネットの張り替えも行いました。その結果、戦前の発売当時の輝きとサウンドが見事に蘇ったのです。

このラジオは、中波のバンドに対応した再生方式のため、受信には少々コツが必要ですが、当時の温かく深みのある音色を確実にお楽しみいただけます。

現代と過去が交差する、唯一無二の体験

さらに、外部入力端子にiPodなどの音楽プレーヤーを繋げば、まるでタイムスリップしたような不思議な感覚で、お気に入りの音楽をレトロな音色で味わうことができます。劣化した電子部品は全て新品に交換済みですので、安心してお使いいただけます。ラジオ放送が続く限り、あと半世紀は現役で活躍してくれることでしょう。

This item is not a replica (except for the back cover). （This is a genuine article that has been fully restored over a period of 3 months by Ryobi Electric Trading Company, which was established in Osaka in the Taisho Era (1912-1926).

Ryobi Denki Shokai was a sales company of Mitsubishi Electric at that time, and its brand “Consatone” was succeeded by Tiger Electric and Tone Radio according to the history of the company. Unfortunately, it disappeared in 1950 due to bankruptcy, but its sound and soul are said to have been inherited by Mitsubishi Electric's Diatone. The “HP” is a high performance radio with an excellent performance design.

The “HP” was a hit product of Ryobi Electric with its excellent performance and design, and there is an ‘FM’ model that looks exactly like this “HP”. This is one of the most beautiful radios I have ever fully restored, and its artistic value is quite high.

The housing is miraculously intact as it has been very well preserved. However, the 95-year-old electrical circuit inside was in need of repair. The chassis was covered with rust, the capacitors were badly corroded due to liquid leakage, one of the vacuum tubes was defective, and the field coil and audio transformer of the loudspeaker was disconnected. Almost all electronic parts and wiring other than Tubes, RF coils, variable capacitor, and transformers were replaced, the cabinet was repainted, and the speaker nets were reupholstered. The receiver circuit is a regenerative radio that supports the medium wave band, so it takes a bit of skill to receive the signal, but you can hear it just fine.

You can also connect a music player such as an iPOD to the external input terminal and listen to it, giving you a magical feeling of going back in time.

The deteriorated electronic parts have been replaced with new ones, so you can use it with peace of mind. As long as radio broadcasting continues, it is likely to last for another half century.

① 本製品は菱美電機製「コンサトーンHP」です。付属品は音楽プレーヤ等接続用のオーディオ・ケーブルとなります。受信用の外部アンテナは絶対に必要ですので落札者様にてご手配願います。受信場所にもよりますがリード導線5m以上を屋外に設置し、背面のねじ止め端子(AL/AS)に繋ぐだけでOKです。 This product is the "Concertone HP" manufactured by Ryoubi Electric. The accessory is an audio cable for connection to a music player or other device. An external antenna for reception is absolutely necessary and should be arranged by the successful bidder. Depending on the reception location, you may need to install at least 5m of lead wire outdoor and connect it to the screw terminal (AL/AS) on the back of the unit.

③ 本体寸法(Dimension)は30cm(幅W)ｘ40cm(高H) 23cm(奥D)、重量（Weight）は約8kgあり、コンパクトな割にはとても重厚感があります。

④ 木製キャビネットは無垢材を使った大変凝った作りでもはや工芸品です。表面処理後ニスを塗装し高級家具の様に仕上げました。裏蓋がありませんでしたので、危険防止のため当時の写真等を参考に作成しました。 The wooden cabinet is made of solid wood and is a very elaborate work of craftsmanship. ⑤ 使用真空管はＳＴ管のUY24B, UY24B，6ZP1及びKX80BKの4球です。オリジナルは電力増幅管にUY247Bが使われていましたが6ZP1に代わっていました。回路は最適化しています。The tubes used were four ST tubes (UY24B, UY24B, 6ZP1, and KX80BK). The original UY47B was used for the power amplification tube, but it was replaced by 6ZP1. The circuit has been optimized.

⑥ スピーカは８インチ（20センチ）の大型フィールドスピーカでしたが、フィールドコイル断線のため、同一サイズのマグネット・スピーカに交換しました。大口径のスピーカからは大音量・高音質のサウンドが出力されます。付属の3.5mmケーブルで音楽プレーヤを接続し、スピーカで聴くこともできます。The speakers were large 8-inch (20 cm) field of the same size. The large-diameter speakers produce loud and high-quality sound. You can also connect a music player with the included 3.5mm cable and listen to music through the speakers.

⑦ 左ノブについている可変抵抗器は内部腐食が酷く全く使えない状態でしたので新品と交換しました。音量調整および電源スイッチとして使います。The variable resistor on the left knob was in a completely unusable condition due to internal corrosion, so it was replaced with a new one. It is used for volume control and power switch.

⑧ スピーカ・ネットは堅牢なポリエステル製ネット新品に貼り替え済みです。ベークライト製つまみはすべて洗浄済みです。Due to the damage, Speaker net is replaced with new robust net made of polyester and all knobs are cleaned and polished as new.

⑨ 電源コードは劣化が激しくボロボロで非常に危険でしたので、電気用品安全法（PSE）対応の新品のケーブルに交換済みですので安心してお使いください。The power cord was very deteriorated, tattered, and extremely dangerous. It has been replaced with a new cable that complies with the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law (PSE), so please use it with safe.

⑩ 劣化の程度に関わらず、コンデンサ及び抵抗器は全て現在入手可能な同等規格の物と交換済みです。交換済み旧部品の写真をご確認ください。電源用のブロックコンデンサはドライアウトして使えませんですが、外観を保つため無接続で設置してあります。Despite degradation level, variable resister, capacitors and resisters are all replaced with new parts with the same spec. Please refer picture of old parts and chassis picture of before rework. The block capacitors for the power supply are dry out and unusable, but are installed without connection to preserve their appearance.

⑪ 受信回路は調整済みです。現代のラジオと違い、ラジオを受信するにはちょっとしたコツが要ります。電源/音量ボリュームを回し真ん中にセットします。真空管が温まるまで約20秒待って、再生ノブ（右）をゆっくりと回しビート音（ピュー音）が聞こえるギリギリの位置に設定します。チューニングノブ(中央)をゆっくり回しビート音が変化するポイントで止めます。再び、再生ノブをゆっくり回していくとビート音が消え、放送がスピーカから聞こえてきます。チューニングノブ、再生ノブを根気よく微調整し最もよく聞こえるポイントで受信します。在京局の受信確認が取れています。
音楽プレーヤ等を接続して聴きたい時は付属品のケーブルをそれぞれオーディオジャックと音楽プレーヤのイヤホンジャックに差します。電源/音量ボリュームをカチッというまで右にいっぱい回し、電源を投入します。真空管が温まるまとスピーカから音楽プレーヤで再生した音が聞こえます。とても不思議です。音量は音楽プレーヤ側のボリュームもしくラジオの電源/音量ボリュームで調節します。
The receiving circuit has been adjusted. Unlike modern radios, receiving a radio requires a bit of finesse. After turning on the power/volume control to the middle position. If you wish to connect a music player or other device, insert the accessory cables into the audio jack and the earphone jack of the music player, respectively. Turn the center gain adjustment knob all the way to the left until it clicks into place, then turn on the power switch. As soon as the vacuum tube warms up, you will hear the sound played by the music player from the speakers. It is very strange. The volume is controlled by the volume control on the music player.
